Hello /g/,

I'm currently using gmail for all my mail-related stuff but I want to stop using it. I could get my own URL but I don't want to make my own mail-server since it's very vurnerable.

Why do you want to stop using them? Just to get your own domain? In that case Google for your domain might be the solution.

If privacy is a concern, then PGP might be effective, but hard to use with all your contacts.

Just rolling your own server won't really help privacy, because everybody else uses Google et al.
