unity is comfy af
I wish it didn't have the amazon bloatware integrated
>>57954379
They disabled that shit by default. Well they claim to have, I use KDE
>>57954379
tbph I think KDE looks nicer, I don't really know why I installed regular Ubuntu. Might replace that with Kubuntu sometime later.
>>57954379
i just wish the side bar was nicer looking. unity 8 looks like it will be nice to use
>>57954418
they did, but just the fact that it's there is triggering my autism
>Look mom, I posted my VM again!

You never know, maybe someone is actually stupid enough to have a system with that i7 and only 4 gigs of ram

>2939 MiB of RAM on a x86_64 system
HMMMMMMMM
>>57954434
I had kubuntu with dual monitor setup. Ditched after a few months, it's a fking bugfest. Window manager kept randomnly dying, loading DE takes ages (windows 7 or ubuntu 16 are much, much faster), screen tearing. Its fucking shit.
>>57954882
I don't really know why it's x86_64, that's just what I installed it as I guess. It has 3k MiB of RAM because it's a really old laptop that uses DDR2 RAM.
>>57955008
Thanks for saying that, what are some other distros that I can use KDE with? Preferably one that will work on this old ass laptop.
>>57952873
it's only comfy if you have a newer pc...if you have a lame duck like mine..meh
and yes, i have tried lubuntu, kubuntu and so on... none of this shit worked properly
