It's actually a pretty good deal. Or you can wait a couple of hours and then continue using it for free.
I've only reached that limit once when I was transferring movies from one computer to the next because uploading and downloading to mega was actually faster than copying it to and from a USB storage device.

It's a fucking multi-RAR file. It'll be days before I get to download the whole thing.
>>57952481
Just use megatools, idiot.

>it costs less for 1 TB on Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive with unlimited bandwidth than it does for 500 GB on Mega with limited bandwidth

Do any of those services encrypt your files?
>>57953113
Dropbox encryption uses 256-bit AES keys to protect files at rest, and encrypts data in motion with 128-bit AES SSL/TLS encryption or better. Google Drive encryption is similar; files in motion are protected using 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption, while those at rest are encrypted with 128-bit AES keys.
>>57953113
Like mega doesn't have access to encryption keys

Why do you need to download a multi terabyte rar file?

How?
My external hard drive can write data at ~30-35MB/s
Unless you have gigabit internet or something I can't see it being faster to upload and download a file instead of just using a USB hard drive.

That's stupid. Don't you have a crossover cable (even a straight work work if one if the NICs is semi-newish).

>falling for the cloud storage meme
If you use it to store more than 10GB you're retarded.
