How the FUCK do people keep good posture at a desk?
Keyboard level in that picture is good, monitor level is terrible, top of monitor should be level with eyes when looking straight ahead.
Good posture is pretty much impossible when using a laptop, you need a desktop monitor on a stand.
you stop being a fat lazy fuck, straighten/arch your back, and tighten your abs. simple as that. becomes second nature after a while.

they don't.
humans didn't exactly evolved with sitting in a chair for 8+ hours a day in mind
even sitting "correctly" like your pic related puts an uneven amount of stress on your pelvis and spine which is naturally uncomfortable, and thus you'll be inclined to start slouching in your chair.
which isn't necessarily bad, as it re-positions your weight more laterally (ergo, your full weight isn't centered straight downward through your ass but rather it's more spread out). the only real drawback is neck posture, as slouching brings in the tendencie to over extend your neck forward.
UNLESS you're actually overweight, and no matter how you sit you put a damaging amount of pressure on your joints and/or discs.
short summary or tl;dr
- slouching is better than 'ergonomic' posture
- find a chair that actually facilitates slouching (more lateral spread in weight the better)
- watch out for that over extension in your neck
- don't be overweight as sitting in a chair for hours on end + being fat = herniated discs.
