I bought this used HP Elitebook 8460p and it looks like new and is really great. (Arrived yesterday.)
When I first tried to start it I had to push like 4 times the power button to get it turning on. Didn't think much about it but then I had to push the button more often to start it and now it's completely not turning on.
I can start the laptop with the "Browser button". Then comes this error and it's booting normally after clicking enter.
So, should I just send it back or should I ask for a partial refund like 1/3? Would be 50€. (Starting with the browser button works, though.)
Or, even better, do you know how to fix hits?
b-bumb..

sorry, if you can return it, or if you are dickhole, resell it to another /g/ member
Send it back. It sounds like a classic case of water damage that someones cleaned up and sold off before all the corrosion really reaps havoc.
Flash again the BIOS if you can
