For general multi-tasking and video editing, sure. But intel destroys amd cpus in literally everything.

you'd be much better off with a pentium of the same level
like an lga 1150 pentium g series

if youre wanting to stick to amd on a budget, you can get a much better apu, or go with dedicated graphics and get something like an athlon x4 845 for 60$

this is about one step up from an athlon 5350, which is a quadcore with a decent r3 inside it

Have you used an FX 63xx?
I have a 1080p 144hz monitor and a nice graphics card, and I have no reason to upgrade. I run every single game at higher than 60 fps without messing around with settings very much.
For like $80 USD, it's a great processor.
