Sup /g/, would it be possible to install a new OS on a dead hard drive to re-animate it? I have an AIDS laptop that I'd like to install Linux onto, but I'm not sure if it'd work. It's a fucked hard drive, but the computer will still boot up to the user login screen.

Not concerned about the data on the laptop.
