Im wanting to watercool both my 1080s but im deciding whether to or just wait for the next set of cards and sell them.

Well either way they're saving it for Vega.
Once vega comes out and disappoints everyone again, Nvidia will release the Ti.
Nvidia understands that having the 'best' card on the market makes people buy your lower end cards even if they're not as good as the competition.
