What were you bullied for?
>bullies
>>killing yourself over things people say on the internet
Good riddance.
what do you expect? most bullies are closet homos. also most gnufags are pedos so fuck their opinions.
>>57900244
Using Solus, I bet.
>>57900125
Just don't use following words:
- gnu
- linux
- gnu/linux
- systemd
- any distro name
and /fglt/ will be friendly and helpful.

>I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

Even bots are better.

Then it's not really friendly and helpful if you can't express your opinions, i suppose.

What did you expect on 4chin?
>not filtering all generals
you are the only one to blame
>go to a circlejerk
>get raped
What did you expect? Only the first 4-5threads were friendly and even that is a stretch.

It's pretty shit. It's the best place to find all the memes, from systemd/fedora/nsa memes, to arch memes, to using post numbers wrong, to gnu/linux rant and all the way back to age old distro wars though.
It may as well be a furry gay loser thread now.
Wasn't there an "Unfriendly GNU/Linux Thread" once?
>>57902158
HEY YEAH, i remember!! back in 2007! were you there dude? man i remember it like it was yesterday. yeah man that thread was totally kickass
>>57902092
I love Linux, but for some reason the Linux community is toxic as fuck. Look at arch users, there is no group in the world that is more unfriendly and less helpful.
>>57902158
That's like having "fatty butter" or "wet water"
>>57901043
generals are the only thing that make /g/ worthwhile.
>except watches, of course.
>>57902225
im so sorry man, please forgive me just a little sarcasm joke. i mean what you said, i just saw an opening and went for it man. thought youd get a laugh but i was wrong :(
forgive me man
>>57902219
>there is no group in the world that is more unfriendly and less helpful.
I've only see unfriendliness related to arch with all the anti-arch memes
I use arch and I recommend it to most people. I'm helpful when possible. Maybe you meant the forums/irc, though, in which case, I wouldn't really know since I rarely go there.
The threads are usually friendly, at least they used to be. Just report the bullies.
>>57902346
hey dude this guy here:
>>57902225
i feel like he bullied me man, i feel bad... can u report him for me? this was supposed to be a friendly thread
>>57902338
>Maybe you meant the forums/irc
Forums/irc or here on/g/. Anywhere you find arch users they are the most unfriendly, rude and unforgiving people. Any question is answered with "read the wiki" (pretty much 100% of the questions even though the wiki never answer anything) and any further questions like "where in the wiki" or "I can't find any answers" is answered with "learn to read, faggot".
>>57900125
Get raped and kill yourself, you retarded fucking faggot sack of nigger shit with down syndrome.
>>57902432
Wow. If you're serious, that really sucks. I just haven't ran into that. I've met my fair share of "RTFM" people, but that was mostly back when I used CrunchBang or Debian. To be fair, I should read the manuals, but some of them are a bit hard to take in quickly and I just need a quick solution, not to know every argument for grep.
I understand a lot of people get into situations where they don't have the time to read a wiki or manual, or maybe they've already been doing so all day and they're really stressed. I've been through that myself, so honestly I just spoonfeed people when I can. To make up for it I try to explain things so that they'll remember them.
>>57902486
>Wow. If you're serious, that really sucks. I just haven't ran into that.
I used Arch for a year... But the community is way worse than even Arch itself. I constantly ran into trouble and it was less and less fun every time to figure out a solution.
Eventually I grew to dislike the community and since I knew all the questions I had would be answered with "read the wiki" (and the wiki never had any answers) I soon learned to read the documentation itself. But I spent hours every day just reading documentation to manage to keep my OS functioning. I needed something to just work, so eventually I just installed ubuntu or mint or something.
People who advice others to get Arch are some damn trolls
The thread would be better if "KDE Shill" was banned.
>>57902660
The @postnumber guy is worse.
