Kind of cool, i don't swap out hard drives too much. is there a reason i would? just curious.

A front card reader, is pretty useless in my case.

I have 6 bays for hdd/ssd's. havent filled it out, waiting for the parts to come in. i don't think i'll need 3/2 more.

I have a locking drawer in 2 of my slots. When I was in college in the dorm it made a great stash spot. Now there just kinda there but I do keep things like my password file cd and a few odds and ends things in there.

Tape drives, hot swap bays. Even if you don't hotswap it's pretty nice to turn one 5.25" bay into four 2.5" bays.

Zip drive

Then

cp /dev/urandom /mnt/zipdrive/encrypted.aes

and label the Zip disk with things like
"Afghanistan 2017"
"Contact in Kabul" etc....
and have them lying around for when you're raided again

The easy bake used to be one of the many pieces of overpriced kitsch that thinkgeek sold, but I don't see it there any more. More prosaically, I know you can still get cup-holder and cigarette-lighter bay devices.
