I was using old ass ivy i5 at 4ghz with auto voltage but now I feel like it might be bottlenecking my 1070 so I clocked it to 4.5ghz @1.3v. I'm also using a cheap ass mobo that doesnt have any LLC so the vdroop is real. At full load in IBT voltage drops from 1.3 to 1.208-1.216 rarely going back to 1.24.
My question is, does this mean I could be running it at around 1.22-25v with a proper LLC motherboard?
Does it really matter?
Don't buy a new motherboard for a dead socket.

I'm not buying another motherboard. Just trying to figure out where does my silicon bastard stand considering average 3570k should be able to do 4.5 with only 1.25v.

Its not like there have been any real jumps in performance since Nehalem kid
Your 4ghz i5 is not bottlenecking anything

You're fucking idiot if you think your i5 is bottle necking your 1070

You clearly don't know what you're doing and should have just bought a pre build from the Windows store

So you have nothing to say on topic and parroting other opinions is the only thing you are capable of? Ok.
