Hey /g/, I'm looking for a new tablet (or super-thin laptop) for work. Basically I need something light with a USB3 port and either a second USB or an SD slot. But I don't want to spend a fortune, otherwise I'd just get the Surface Pro 4.
Any help would be appreciated.

Wait for the SP5/S4.

It'll cost too much, I'm looking for something cheap which can transfer files between two external devices. I also hear that the Pro 5 will move to USB-C which would be inconvenient for me.
Check out the cube i9. It's something like 400 bucks and comes with a usb 3.0 port, a usb C port and a SD slot.

Wait for the SP5/S4 since it will drive prices down on the old shit if you're too much of a poorfag to get the new devices.
Chuwi Hi10 pro is a budget option.

Exactly what I'm after, thanks.

This looks great actually, USBC aside. Will look into.

Yeah that's a good point, might do that.

The non pro version has the same specs but no usb c. However given that that is the charging port, i think usbc charges ti faster, but i dont think techtablets has done a review on it.
In a similar situation as OP but a few other things. I wanted to get something that I could draw on and program with, as well as watch videos and other stupid shit like that. Is the Surface Pro 4 still the way to go? I was looking at the Asus Transformer Chi because it would've been nice to have something compact but I held off to do some more research.

Microsoft wont do the same shit apple made, probably they'll just throw in a usb-c port and keep the rest, like dell xps
Wait, OP!
