>>
>>57880824
SATA power draws 12, 5, and 3.3 volts. MOLEX provides only 12 and 5. Since all the pictures show burns on the 5v line, I can only assume that a higher amount of amperage was drawn on the 5v to make up for it (3.3 is a common logic chip voltage) the PSU wouldn't detect it fast enough, if at all

But this is all assumption. I'm a programmer, not an electrical engineer (unfortunately)

>>
>>57884714
the 3,3V is a problem only with a hot swap function. any drive that's just sitting in your case can be powered from MOLEX -> SATA without any problems
anyway it's either one of two things:

Actually, apple phones allow you to replace digi+lcd screen fairly easily, assuming it's not an iphone 4
The only ones I had to do that involved adhesives were ipads, which were a real fucking bitch to repair. I actually managed to fuck up someone's ipad in some unforeseeable way that bricked it during a repair, and he got mad as fuck
Honestly I kind of hated that job
>>
>>57884322
>wireless
you are fucking retarded, first of all you need to get that many wires to a wireless device, then you need a wireless device that can do as many gigabits as their are wires there. So now you need maybe 100 wifi networks on top of each other, which would cause interference and be shit. Then you better hope to god that you don't have very far to go.

what i'd do is remove the bracket, but instead of just removing the vga connector, i'd feed it outside of the case and use it
the ribbon cable should fit alongside the dvi connector, or remove another bracket if it doesn't

When I was 6 months old my mother stepped out of the bathroom whole the curling iron was on

Being the little 6 month old shit I was saw the cable to it and pulled it off the counter

It landed on my hand and now I have a scar. Sometimes I forget it's there but let me tell you, the damage a curling iron can do or a straightening iron can do is not worth the investment.

I've used a straightening iron when I had foot long hair but it wasn't worth it.

Take it from me that shit is fucking hot - don't be a retard and use one as a dildo like some woman did. She burned her ass with it because she assumed it was a heated dildo that was supposed to not feel cold during use.

You're welcome to take that over from this story but in the end one thing matters: you will never be as retarded as the woman that used a curling iron as a dildo

Well anon, I'm glad you asked.

Amongst our building maintenance team we had a metal scrapper. He would literally tear apart decommissioned hardware for aluminium heatsinks, pull choke coils out of power supplies, cut cords off keyboards and mice, all that ghetto shit.

This is a massive area that used to have 20-odd offices with those thin, cheap walls. After we had moved out and the demo guys had started pulling walls down, but before we in IT had signed off on the decommission of the data rooms, this muppet took it upon himself to start pulling cat5 out of the walls. Observing that there were still racks with (albeit switched off) gear in the serve rooms, one of the demolition guys raised a flag. The scrapper got his shit raped but was left employed because local management didn't think anything would come of the place. Then the bosses in the mothership overseas decided they liked having a local backup site for our other two offices, told the local guys to put 10 offices back in, and switch the comms back on.

That was the point where our scrapper was fired. At least we got cat6 and fiber instead.

Also, this came in from one of our users, his BYOD laptop. He very sheepishly asked if we could pull the data off the HDD after it "fell off the roof of his car". Story we got from other people nearby was that he couldn't access sharepoint and threw it at the ground. One less HP consumershit laptop to fuck with my day I guess.
