Which is the best, /g/?
Regular Firefox is being a slow fucker recently, wondering if the forks are any better.
Don't blame Firefox for the modern web being a bloated heap of trash.
It's not exactly innocent of being bad by itself, but it's hardly the only thing to blame.
Palemoon
lately https everywhere has been eating a shitload of ram and slowing down ffox for me.
cca 700mb - when disabled
cca 1900mb - when enabled
what the fuck is ffox doing???
Cyberfox isn't half bad. I've been using it for about a week and it seems great.

That just screams "Chinese botnet"
Waterfox and Icecat are just rebrands, they're negligibly different from stock FF.
Pale Moon is an actual fork, with different philosophies behind it that you may or may not find agreeable.
For me, it's good enough, and the least frustrating browser I've used in the past few years. But I don't use very many addons so I don't have to worry about compatability.

They're all shit.
None of them support my addons out of the box.

>addon causing problem
>blames browser
Something must be wrong though, HTTPS Everywhere only uses 8.53 MB for me, which is still bloated compared to e.g. uBlock Origin at 1.02 MB.

it worked similar to your settis till ffox 50.x
i dont even know who to blame, but something is shittin it up

Manual updates are too much effort.

I've been using Waterfox quite happily for a year or two just since official 64b builds weren't a thing on Windows, but I guess they also removed one or two of the smaller bullshit features.
The forks aren't perceptibly faster overall though.
You might want to consider using multiple concurrent profiles though to alleviate the single slow tab fucking all others issue.
