Is the Herman Miller Embody a meme chair? Anyone ever sat in it?

Yes, someone has sat on it.

I have an Aeron and it's pretty nice. I only paid $500 for mine though and at that price it's a no brainer.
At MSRP though.... I can't say I'd recommend it.

This. Snap one up if you can get it cheap in good condition, otherwise it's just not worth the money.

Own one.
Comfy.
I wanted one but I'm 330lbs, will it resist my corpulence?

Underrated.
Thanks for the hearty kek.

Yes it's worth it:

But only if you're a remote developer or academic putting in long hours and need to avoid RSI. If you're some game nerd you should delete the games and go exercise.

I've sat on a Okamura CP. Comfiest office chair I've ever sat on. Never sat on a Herman Miller tho.

Why dont you loose some weight you fat fuck
My next chair will probably be one of these, keep falling for the $100-$150 Staples chair meme and it's always the same shit story
>Seems great for the first 6 months
>Start to notice my ass hurts a little
>Notice the foam is compressed
>Only gets worse
>Sit on a board a year after purchase
>Research new chairs
>Can't pull trigger so I get another $150 staples chair
>Been doing this for the past 3-4 chairs
I'm 220 pounds and most chairs are rated at 250 so that shouldn't be an issue.

To at to this check Ebay. I was able to find mine for $500 new out of California. I was in Nebraska at the time so it was $560 shipped.
A lot of tech companies buy loads of these chairs and then go tits up. Auctioneers buy up these chairs by the hundreds and Ebay them.
