Why do I need to restart my fucking shit router every other day???
It's a TP-Link WR2543 running DD-WRT. From time to time I need to physically go there and restart the thing, because I can't access even the webadmin.
Now I'm sitting in the office and I want to ssh into my server at home and it fucking times out and I KNOW THIS FUCKING SON OF A BITCH ROUTER IS AT FAULT AGAIN REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Also, recommend non-shitty routers here.
>DD-WRT
Found your problem. Install OpenWrt.

Are you just memeing, or is OpenWRT really better? I thought DD-WRT vs OpenWRT it was like Photoshop vs Gimp.

This happens to me too. Usually its my wireless shit which will stop working, my phone just refuses to reconnect to wifi until i reboot it.

Just memeing. DD-Wrt is fine for most people, OpenWrt is just more minimal and then you install packages yourself (i.e. like a regular Linux distro). If you care then I think DD-Wrt isn't fully libre while OpenWrt is.

I run dd-wrt on a wndr4000 and I never had to reboot because of reliability.
Last uptime was 270 days before my washing machine tried to burn my house down and I had to disconnect from the grid. Uptime before that was 150+ days before I rebooted unnecessarily after changing some DNS settings.
