It is rather uneven. Device drivers are a lot of work and make up a huge fraction of the Linux code base. There has simply not been enough manpower to do the same for 9front.

Its good for programming and the distributed aspect is cool af but it needs a lot of work to become /g/ standards of usable.

Some of its ideas were good, but I think it went too far in some places (No dynamic libs? No mmap)

Still, things like union mounts are things people are having a lot of trouble reconciling with unix file semantics,. Makes me think the best idea would be to make some kindof plan9-linux halfbreed.
