i heard some pop sites that have been trying to wage war against readers using content blockers, i think it includes wired and forbes

i recall at each time i heard of them the sites actual texts and photos related to the article you're trying to read remains there without javascript, and you dont even need to wait for anti-anti-adblock rules to be updated

even pornsites are getting to be browseable without javascript "thanks" to browsers playing embeded video *shruggs*, but i just download based off animated thumbnails and play the temporary file to decide eif i should complete the download.


even on recaptcha protected interactions, like posting on 4chan, you can answer the challenges without javascript, it uses submit to frame instead., its too bad its 9photos matrix insteasd of legacy captcha.

i feel we could create userscripts to consume site's data and enable only the funcionalities we want, but its often best to just forego abusive sites, like i just check 4chan nowadsy and prefer eightchan lainchan
