For example, I know that a torrent is falsely marked as V0 but is actually 320, because I have a V0 copy and each track is significantly smaller. But I have no incentive to download the torrent and report it with proof because I'd only lose buffer.

My personal buffer is worth more than the integrity of the site.

PTH's ratio economy is fucked because no one is downloading. Apollo seem to be coming out on top thanks to this extended freeleech and the higher number of potential peers. Unless PTH have a similar week-long FL once they reach a critical mass of people who have an incentive to auto-DL (say 15k) they're going to lose the battle.

There's no way to objectively measure that really. But even if it did that wouldn't mean shit without the ratio economy being stimulated. I definitely want PTH to come out on top because its staff and users are no doubt superior to Apollo's, but the early FL has stagnated things by giving users the chance to get comfortable but not providing enough people with a large enough buffer than they can begin to auto-snatch.

You risk getting into a stagnant situation where gradual downloading isn't possible because people aren't able to build up buffers who came after user no 4000 or whatever it was up to when the FL ended.
