Yeah, I kinda wanted some speakers, but don't really have much use for them, and also barely have room either. Thought about getting a soundbar to put under my monitor, but they're not cheap and I don't even know if they're any good.

there are little headphone amp sized things that have passive speakers out, if you wanna do passive, and active speakers out too. both with volume control and a good headphone out on the front

I haven't noticed anything that different on the sound. I've always used the stock velour pads included with it, and just bought those HM5 ones because the leather cover inside the regular pad was peeling off, but apart from being a bit more comfortable, I think it sounds about the same.

The lighting is likely a big part of it, but apart from that, I guess it's just some color tweaking to make everything a bit softer by reducing the overall contrast between shadows and highlights.

The mic setup is pretty ghetto I'll admit, but it gets the job done. The microphone I was using before was a lanyard mic that was for 5 bucks for 3 so obviously the quality was shit,

and I just didn't want to have a shitty mic quality so I obsessed over getting a better mic but didn't gave the cash on me, so I resorted to using my old garage band mic which actually sounds decent with the right settings using a program to fix its issues like white noise and what not

then the mic stand so I wouldn't always need to hold it to be able to have it pick up my voice.

yes, but not just for that. also because as i mentioned before, seeing everything i spent my money on made me feel more miserable, and also the thinkpad is amazing to me. its like the pinnacle of personal computing. i had never had a business laptop before.

I have a friend who is a street dancer that thinks just like this. He stopped using a lot of electronics that gave him entertainment, like computers and consoles. He got rid of almost all of his stuff and only kept his matress, speakers, and clothes.

He now devotes his life to just socializing and dancing and he's so fuckin strong for doing it. He's living his life more than most people I know and it's awesome.

Yeah, I'm lucky that my cat absolutely loves brushes, so as long as I brush him daily, it's not bad. He still sheds a lot, but it's easy to just clean everything with a vacuum.
