To comment on that you said, again, we were first responders to the need for a WCD replacement which shined a light on us, and people with influence in the private torrent community did not take to kindly to that, as they planned to create one of their own. We grew very fast in the first couple of days, which ended up hurting us more than it helped. We had infiltrators who's sole purpose it was to gain our trust and tear us down when the other trackers were ready to launch. They were successful, so we tore it down and started with a new database for security reasons. With all that said, that should not deter us from existing and doing what we set out to do in the first place. They did what they did, and they are where they are, but we'll always be here. TIme will build trust, and new potential members will know what we're about and how we differ from those who sought to do us harm. It will be slow going, but it always is when those in power want to keep the little guy down. We'll be here doing our thing at NoS, as long as the people that are with us are cool

Why is it that it costs twice as much to reduce download amount as it does to boost upload amount?

Seems like whenever I see a site with BP that allows you to remove download it will be twice the equivalent for buying upload. Is there some reason that reducing download would be more beneficial than increasing upload?

There is a user run Karagarga thread on AB however it is dead.

However, there is a Bibliotik user run thread on AB and if you can get an invite to Bibliotik (they're asking for elite or higher with 8 months) and can upload until you hit PU there is a HDBits thread (150 wks for PU, no wks for Elite) and from HDBits there is a recruitment thread to get into PTP. Bibliotik is the hardest for a lot of people to seed on however.
