So Facebook has come out with a language as many of you might know called Hack, but it seems like a safer way to use your output stream as well as it has asynchronous support, whereas PHP7 seems to have the upper hand on the performance tests, so should anyone bother learning Hack? Or stick to PHP7?

See the problem with this is that it is made by Facebook and they're a bunch of fags.
>>57805265
Personally I would just use neither.
>>57805400
Yea good point, I wanna go with PHP7 but I think the performance will skyrocket up + there's no asynchronous scripting I'm pretty sure :-/
Does your site get hundreds of thousands of concurrent connections? No? Then stick to the industry standard.

DELETE THIS

>>57805265
good luck finding a web host that supports hack faggot.

You know Hack is just a runtime which you can ssh into a server and install it... right?
You know what ssh is... right?
R...ri..ght?
Hack used to be faster then PHP but ever since PHP 7 (and now 7.1) there's almost no reason to use Hack over PHP. Just stick with PHP 7.

This. There is no reason to use some hipster language that won't get you hired anywhere
>>57806961
the runtime is hip hop, you illiterate faggot

My website will be released with PHP, originally, but then it'll slowly phase in C++, because better.
Also, can't wait for Web Assembly. That'll be great to replace retarded JavaScript with
