Don't install AV, that's literally begging for trouble.

Also try Sublime Text instead of Notepad++, even if you don't do programming on it (for which it shines) it still has multiple cursors, block selection and much more nice stuff (other than what N++ already has like regexp s&r)

For sysutils on windows I also like:
- Launchy (although with Start+Cortana it might get redundant)
- Unchecky (auto-unticks junkware from installations)
- Clover (Chrome tabs on the file browser)
- f.lux (lowers color temperature at night)

Other stuff: puush, aquasnap, cmder, hwmonitor
