How do I crack it

once I put a password on a 7z archive and I completely forgot what it was, so I had to write a program to crack it
All I knew was that the password was really obvious
It took 2 days of continuous testing to crack it but I fucking did it.

The password was "7z!"
Clearly, I'm fucking shit at programming - but goddamn was I proud.

You can use rar2john utility to extract the crypto information from it - and then use hashcat or johntheripper to crack it.

That's like 857,375 different combinations if you include upper case letters, 328,509 if you don't.

Four letters would have been 81,450,625 different combinations, 5 letters 7,737,809,375.
