So /g/ i need some real advice on a gaming laptop. I'm a technical consultant and my job requires travel from time to time and stays can last over a week. So im looking for a laptop that can handle gaming (BF4, Dark Souls, some racing games, doom, etc) but i dont want to carry around a fucking behemoth of a laptop, so something in the 13 inch range. 1080p is fine but atleast be able to run at max settings.
Any recommendations?
Also inb4 a console. im not really into them.
This thread is a reminder why we need a buying & shopping board for consumerist threads

Newest razer blade pro 2016
Has gtx 1080, 16 or 32 GB ram, bunch of HDD space can't remember exactly, decent screen and only about 2cm or less thick and weighs about 1.5-2kg

That would probably be pretty fucking useful.
>>57751555
probably should have included a budget. i'd like to keep it under 1300. I will never spend over 3k on a laptop again.

>affordable
>gaming
>laptop
You can only choose 2, fagtron.

he can probably get something that can run BF4 on shit settings with 1300 dollars, anon
laptops have been pretty decent recently

Shit settings, yeah of course.
I was referring to his request for 1080p "at least" at max settings. Laptops have come a long way but come on, that's unrealistic at $1300.
>>57752466
ah, didn't see the max settings part
yeah fuck OP

Any laptop that has atleast a gtx 1060 can run BF4 at max 1080p settings with 100 plus fps @ 1080p..... Sooooo basically you've illustrated that don't know shit about technology.
Oh and low and behold all many laptops with a 1060 can be had for right around 1300 dollars. hmmmmm

Cont
Hell, the 980m can handle it.

take a look to Omen by HP maybe
>>57751520
Won't lie, I want to make threads asking about tablets and shit, but that would jut shit up this board more.
>>57752929
If the Dell XPS 15 finally gets updated to the 1060 that'd be close to perfect.

>BF4
>3+ year old well optimized game that makes use of hyperthreading
BF4 is one of the most optimized PC ports of this last generation and those 1060 laptops you mentioned are $1400-$1500 even from shit tier laptop brands like ASUS. Nicer ones that are more portable are in the $2000 range. Soooooo basically kys.
Also it's "lo and behold" you illiterate memeing FUCK.

Futaba has two tech boards - and one is for consumer technology (and I realy mean, consumer technology - shit like dishwashers and fans), and a computer-building one. 4chan should have something similar, as this is seriously getting tiring.

why the FUCK would you save that as JPEG and not PNG you scampering shitcluck

>5 pound fuckhuge laptops from brands actually WORSE than ASUS
>at least under $1300
Golf clap for at least finding something for OP, even if they only last a year.
Anything with an i7 or i5 and 960m or better. I've got a ROG laptop with an i7 4700HQ and 860m, and it still plays vidya fine. I dunno how BF4 would run on it, but Overwatch is fine.

Literally just filter the word gaming if it bothers you so much
