Has anyone ever tried using 2 phones at once?
I tried out an iPhone 7 for a couple weeks, while many things irked me like the uncanny valleyness of the home button, lack of audio jack, no native 4chan apps, and other obvious features like no file browser, I was pretty happy with the media features, app and general OS stability, camera, and iMessage.
I was thinking about picking up an iPhone SE as well as a budget Android phone for everything that the iPhone falls short on.
Are there ways to make SIM card management easier, and most importantly, is this just a dumb idea and should I just stick to one phone?

I picked up the Xperia XZ for $500 on one of those Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and am super happy with it. It feels strangely familiar though I've only had Motorola smartphones before this. I could've gone for the 3T and saved money, but this phone just strikes me as cozy. The design language reminds me of my Sony e-reader from a few years back. Installing the UK firmware to have a working fingerprint scanner was super easy.

Anyone have radio problems with the N5? Everything works fine except incoming calls are sometimes dropped.

Tried everything from SIM replacement (that wasn't going to help anyway), to flashing old radios and taking apart the hardware and making sure everything is fine.

The last two possibilities are either a mysterious hardware break (how come only inbound calls are dropped if my antennas are fucked?) or a local provider problem.

Anyone dealt with anything similar? I really don't want to waste money on a new toy if I don't have to as the N5 works perfectly for me

Their hardware always seems cool, but it has very shitty software, the hw is not as good as Samsung's and it is still expensive as shit.

I got the Honor 8 two days ago. Paid 280€ for it. Definitely worth it. It's really well built and looks great. I'll probably have to put a case on it though because the back scratches easily and I'm clumsy.
EMUI has gotten a lot better but there's still some annoying quirks. It's supposed o get the Nougat update in january.

I'd say go for the Honor. I have manlet hands and the form factor is really nice. Plus I've heard some bad things about touch latency on the OP and bad customer support.

Mainly for the styling, its the best looking android phone imo

It's overpriced and I wish it had the mag dock connector thing that the xperia Z line of phones had. Can't find any screen protectors that cover the whole glass face, its slightly curved on the sides meaning cheapo screen protectors leave a good mm or two of the screen hanging out the side. Fingerprint sensor can be a bit arsey if my hands are damp. Screen is really nice apart from minor ghosting I could notice on the home screen with a black background.


Minor niggles, apart from those I really like it.

Got the Huawei Nova, will probably send it back these days. The EMUI is pretty shit and making things complicated where there is no need for it but mostly I dislike the thin sides of the phone that I can't firmly grip. I bought a moto x force (droid turbo 2) during black friday, and now that I've properly read up about it, I've learned that it has no durability what so ever.
The only option here would be to buy a 3rd party tempered glass screen protector, and attach it ontop of the shitty plastic "screen protector". But I've read a lot of bad reviews of the only existing screen protectors.

Should I return it?
What else should I get?

I'm buying myself a phone for christmas, that others will chim in on, probably up to around $350 at most.
With that budget I initially bought a Moto X Force during black friday, but after reading about how easily it scratches, I really just want to return it. Whatever it does better in specs on other phones don't really matter, since it has no durability.

So, I've been thinking about what other phone i should get.
As for now, the only real competitor close to the same price point is Nexus 5X, either 16GB or 32GB. I do care about Camera, and Honor 7, moto G4 Plus has bad ones.

Additionally, I put some thoughts out and adding $100 for a Nexus 6P. But that's a lot of money, for something that may not last me all that much longer.
I was also thinking of an extra $150 for a OnePlus 3T, but I then figured I won't actually get it in time for christmas, and while it'll probably last me quite a few years, it's a lot of money.

What should I do?
