I've submitted a modification to the TCP engine that bundles one or more previously sent segments in to segments scheduled for transmission, provided that there is space in them. It's been acked for a while and currently being tested by Yuchung, but I guess he's extremely busy these days. I hope it makes it way in.

I just recently figured out how source files, header files, makefiles, object files and linker all work together and I can split my source in multiple files and use makefiles.

Also I just recently learned enough vim and ctags to quickly browse big codebases and jump to function definitions etc.

For the first time the file organization and building makes sense to me and it doesn't look like a magic incantation.

I just look for TODO files with "find ./-name "TODO"" or do to random place in staging and run a checkpatch.pl if I don't feel like thinking

To start out, just pick anything, the things in drivers/staging will have the most obvious errors, so pick a random one from there and run with it
