>>57732664

>>57732717
I have no idea
I guess j want to try and make something with a GUI for Windows
I need visual C right
>>57732676
C++ primer was published in 1989 >:(
http://www.learncpp.com/
Read a modern C++ book/tutorial
You want to be upto date with the latest iterations and changes to C++, else you'll be working with defunct shit
>>57732762
5th edition was published in 2012 and its c++11.
>>57732702
C++ primer was written by a guy that was working with bjarne on C++ in bell labs.
C++ primer plus was written by a guy that writes alot of cs books.
In C++ primer you have oop right from the beginning while in c++ primer plus you have it on 600th page.
>>57732900
ah and do not read any C++ books that are not atleast c++11 because its waste of time now
>>57732664
Just start on something and google everything you don't know
>>57732965
This is the only correct answer. Anyone who is even half decent, learned this way.
>>57732742
>Gui
>C++
Just no, all c/c++ gui toolkits are horrible. Use c# if windows only.
>>57732664
Read the stackoverflow answer lazy faggot, it's just one click away and the list is better than some random faggot will recommend you here from his basement.
Could I use c# for GUI for Windows and Linux?
>>57733172
Only if you use gtk# instead of wpf.
>>57732965
its not that simple with c++
this way he will develop bad habits and his code is going to be sphagetti level
>>57733191
>gtk#
