/g/, I'm torn as a motherfucker.
I have limited funds, but *just enough* to get the 3T. My Nexus 5's software is perfect for my needs - speedy and smooth as fuck, justright.jpg.
The battery shits itself after 1.5/2 hrs SOT TOPS, 8-10 hrs overall usage. The camera is slow as fuck, and I need an exorbitant amount of dedication to get a decent shot. Physically the 5 is disintegrating. But I love it so fucking much.
Help me, /g/, do I stick with the functioning option or do I invest in the 3T (being fully aware of its advantages and shortcomings)?

Rumors say July 2017. 8 months on custom ROMs for the Nexus 5 doesn't actually sound that bad. Thanks, anon.

I have job, that's why I said I have *just enough* disposable income to get the phone. I'm really torn, dammit.
More importantly 64gb or 128gb?
Is 128 overkill?

Buy anLG G2 battery and modify your N5 to fit it.
There. Now you get decent battery life.

Why don't you ask the smartphone general?
Unless you're actually just here to shill the 1+3T :^)

With Google Photos and Play Music I have 0 complaints about photos/videos and music storage. 64GB is more than enough for apps and shit. If you have a big music or video libraries that you depend on having around, then get the 128.

Sadly, G2 batteries are - to the best of my knowledge - impossible to find in Denmark, so I'm fucked.

But the software though? OxygenOS is far superior to MiUI, and then there are the import issues.

Totally blanked out about that, apologies.
I'm just really torn about this want vs need scenario.
OP here, just found out I can get the 3T somewhere between $270 and $320, so I guess I'll pull the trigger
Thanks, everyone for reading my blog.
