Why the fuck are drones so great?

>Hand over hard earned fuckin cash for FPV drone
>Practice high speed flying and manual mode acrobatics inside warehouse for weeks
>Go out to the street at dusk... Headless mode: ON, Altitude hold: ON, 30% beginner thrust: Check
>Push the auto-takeoff button and hover at knee-height
>A weak breeze starts blowing, drone starts gaining height all by itself...
>Throttle all the way down and remains very slowly rising, push auto-landing but no effect either.
>When it reaches above rooftop level, picks up even stronger breeze and rises even faster heading NW with the high wind
>Loses camera and controller signal and instead of landing I still see for a minute or two its tiny lights in the sky with my money going up and away with the high winds.
>Fuck drones. I'll never use them for anything serious... and if I ever buy one it'll be just cheap ones for playing.
