Why is everyone obsessed with putting SSDs in literally everything? Did I miss somehow when HDDs were kill? Because I don't think they are. Nice large HDD anytime over expensive and unreliable flash storage.

Why wouldn't you, at least on a laptop? On desktops an SSD+HDD combo is still the best, but why wouldn't you do SSD every time with a new laptop? Besides the "unreliability" meme which is false nowadays with how far SSDs have come. Even if your SSD failed, it just gets locked into a read-only state, while if an HDD fails you are fucked.

why do you need 1TB on a laptop? I mean honestly, unless you are using a laptop as a primary device instead of secondary with your desktop. Even then, you can still put an HDD in with an SSD on your laptop, as long as it has an msata or m.2 slot.
