If it throws a hissy fit when you physically reorient it, then it is almost certainly a mechanical problem. You may have a loose component or lead that comes loose when you turn it, or perhaps the battery no longer fits snugly in.

in short, my phone is dying, correct?

If it's old, then this is just part of electronics ageing. If you think the overheating is dangerous, then you should get a new phone and re-purpose the old one. If it's new, try and get a replacement under warranty. If it is under warranty but it is still a nice phone, you can see if you can get it repaired for less than the cost of a brand new phone.
Good luck stranger.

I think that's colored ShindoL, specifically Emergence.
>legs just a bit pudgier than the stockings so there's that slight bulge above where the stockings end
hnnnnnnnnnnnnng
Batteries are like a glass of water. When you turn it upside down you're dumping all the juice out of the battery, dummy.

So don't hold it upside down.
