I like to separate my work on different computers.
I like using computers for single purpose
>One to do intense programming on
>A separate computer to play around on.
>gaymen pc
>t430 for anime
>x201 for shitposting and trying different distros
A Mac for work.
A Linux box for messing about.

i use Linux for most everything, but i have a laptop with win-7 on it for running one app and this laptop never sees the internet, after i did a clean install of win-7 i never configure the internet for it and microsoft's servers never touch it or knows of its existence, i run some SDR software on it because Linux's SDR software is not as good, no notch filters is my biggest gripe
I like to use my old PowerMac 6100 for reading books or manga. Since I don't have the AAUI adapter, there's no distraction.
i call them VMs

What applications are you using the VMs for? I like having physically separate computers. One that is a 'workhorse' and can take a beating travel wise and another that stays at home and is more for studying/light use.

An overpowered linux box for work.
A moderately powered laptop that sits on my desk and is a linux box at home (for study but I don't study so it's for getting distracted)
A Pi-Top for general remote tasks, lol. I don't want to carry a $1.5k laptop around with me, and I don't want to carry a laptop with a battery life of only two hours either.

>t430 for anime
This except i have X230 and don't watch anime, just movies and the shitposting machine is for testing too. All of them runs linux.
