you can just get a dock that has all those ports and uses just one thunderbolt 3 (or whatever it's called) port.
i get your point though. apple is moving away from the "pro" feel of their laptops. it's a shame.

that part is progress. not having even one usb port is stupid. having a keyboard with nanometer key travel is also not pro. touch bar is arguable. i'm sure photoshop and video editing geeks can make use of it. as a developer who actually uses the escape key, i kind of hate it. the fact that apple demonstrated the touch bar with smileys shows you they are at least partly concerned with the facebook/im teenybopper crowd, which on a "pro" badged computer is inexcusable.
i actually own apple products, i'm not an apple hater. in general i don't like the direction apple is going despite the fact that they have functional docks now.
