Give them a price, add 100-200 dollars for yourself, it will still be cheaper than a pre-built, build it, give it to them, done.

The solution to this is to charge them for tech support.
It's more than just deterrent- the very act of handing cash over actually changes their mindset, and it makes them less likely to say shit is your fault. It also reduces the chance that they'll call you up for help.
Turns you into a dumb hobbyist who messes with their shit into a professional.
