I just sold my r9 290 for $230 on ebay.
I'm looking to replace it with either a 480 or a used 980ti ($300).
What I want to know, will getting an 8GB cards over 4GB make a difference on a 1440p 96hz display?

I've been out of the GPU loop for a long time.
What are some of the preferred aftermarket coolers for 980ti?
I'm looking at the MSI 980ti Golden Edition and EVGA 980ti SC+ ACX 2.0+ at the moment.
