Linux Mint will not mount my HDD enclosure, nor will it mount my Tails live USB. Are the issues connected? How do I resolve it?

Normal USB drives connect.
what filesystem is it?
sudo mount -t ntfs /dev/sdb1 /media
try that only with what you use.also trey rebooting. last night my ext wouldn't mount but then i rebooted and it worked right away
prolly didn't write the usb properly.

I tired both of those options, nothing.

The Tails USB shows up on BIOS and you can boot into it, however, it doesn't show up when in Linux Mint and therefore cannot open it.

I did perform a far deeper than usual cleaning with BleachBit, do you reckon that could've caused this issue?
This belongs in sqt

I'm doing an install of a different distro, who's ISO is on my former desktops hard drive (the drive in the enclosure). I discovered the issue with the enclosure when I was trying to retrieve the ISO to burn onto a disk or USB to install the new distro.
Whereas, with the Tails live USB, you can boot into it and Tails works, but it doesn't show up when plugged in on Mint.
I'm thinking either the two issues are connected, or as I said here (>>57683547). The issue might be related to the BleachBit cleansing. Any ideas?
