Depends on how close you're sitting of course, but I got a 1080p 27 inch years ago and the low PPI is kind of jarring at first. Used to it now, but I think 1440p is better for that size.

From what i've read and the videos i've watched, 1440p has more pixels and so generally the picture is a lot sharper because it has more pixels. Also higher resolution etc etc, i will upgrade to 1440p 144hz soon. Even though i don't do any gaming anymore and the 144hz is great compared to 60hz i got now for gaming.
