Even if I didn't need the Wifi drivers to install it, that's just absolutely terrible practice to require internet access to install an OS. Sadly that's probably the way things are going. Debian stable doesn't fully require internet access but all the testing images won't even let you start to install without it. Maybe jessie will be the last version which doesn't have a fucking botnetted installer
