This year has been extremely sparse on good deals with components other than memory, with RAM, SSDs, Flash Drives, and MicroSD due to the NAND glut that has been affecting everyone, and monitors which have gluts also.

But yeah, I was hoping for the Surface Pro 4 to go down more in price but it didn't hit the magical $500 mark with everything included so that sucks. There hasn't been good laptop deals during Black Friday for a while. Seems like people are having problems with finding good video card deals and processor deals outside of Microcenter's promo.

Is Lenovo Thinkpad P40 Yoga a decent 2 in 1? I'm studying mechanical engineering in college and need to upgrade my computer to run Autodesk, Creo, Solidworks, Matlab and the sort.
But I'm also an avid netflixer and digital art hobbyist.
So the gorgeous screen and digitilizer with pen capabilities are appealing. I own Adobe creature suite.

The pleather has completely flaked and peeled off, both armrests have broke and are now stick out at a weird angle from the chair (don't put too much pressure on them), the rubber material covering the armrests have fallen apart and are now glued together, and the foam is ripping apart on the seat and the fabric is torn.
