Hey /g/, what's a good affordable pad that one would use mostly for reading downloaded PDFs, but also occasional browsing?

Last time I asked you guys for a recommendation it was for a smartphone and you recommended me the Xiaomi Redmi Note 1 , which I still have and I love!

Not OP but Amazon has its fire 8 hd on sale for $60, is this a good deal? I am mostly going to use it to read epubs and browse the net.

I have the Mi Pad 2, pretty much never use it but it's great for the price and the screen is great. It's stuck on Android Lollipop though

Yep. Go the new nook instead. Basically exact same but with no ads and play store. It's also on marshmallow
