Does OS X do some stupid scaling bullshit to it's programs when on a hi resolution display? On windows and linux you can turn simply turn scaling off when having a 4k or 5k screen so you don't have to worry about a "muddy" or "blurry" digital drawing "app"

MacOS actually has the best scaling out of any OS. And, yes, you can turn it off, but the DPI is so high that it's not a good idea to do so.
