Pic related is my new 30 dollar smartwatch. Got it from some bootleg Chinese website. Battery lasts almost all day, it can call, text, store data, view data, and even take pictures. The memory card and SIM card don't come with the watch.
I've got an Apple Watch. It cost $750. Nice thing about it is that it actually impresses people unlike cheap alternatives. Sapphire glass is just nicer

got one for my gf last year for 50 dollar. its the biggest piece of trash you've ever owned and you know it. its a fucking nightmare to do anything on it, be it swiping through your potato pictures or trying to write a text, the touch is just plain horrible.

>no SIM included
no shit
good luck, you can probably impress your 6-year old nephew with it. that's where the usecase ends.

That sucks anon. The touch on here is actually really nice. What I don't understand is why anyone would waste money on one of those extremely expensive fancy watches. Sure they are a status symbol, but they are extremely impractical.

I ordered a $15 one that looks a little bit nicer. My goal is to hack around in the OS a bit and have some fun

I actually have a lot of good usages for it. It can store 18 gigs of data, which saves a lot of space. It functions well as any other watch, and it can do everything that my phone can but cheaper with a smaller screen.

What can it do that a $100 smartwatch can't?

Make you look like a pretentious ass who spent $750 on a Dick Tracy watch?

Lg g watch is pretty compact, the others aren't even that big and I have frail wrists like you, can put my whole wrist around them and have a cm overlap on my fingers
I have a Samsung Gear s2 I got for free with my phone. It's alright, but i I wish I could replace the straps with something non-plastic.
I still don't understand the appeal of smartwatches. What's the point?

Nice trips. I don't have one but I would assume it makes basic tasks a little simpler since you don't have to pull your phone out. Like setting an alarm, or viewing/sending a quick, short text. I can also see it's use when cooking or working on something. having a small display showing you a little bit of vital info completely hands free

free tip don't charge it with phone chargers... usb from pc or laptops are fine
