You can change it a bit to show what you like, but when apps aren't optimized it shows pic related. I love the keyboard, I'm not a fan of the MacBook keyboard and it feels better than that. I pulled out my 2015 rMBP last night and it felt so cheap in comparison to the new keyboard. I bought a few dongles and adapters on amazon and plugged them into my devices and left them there so there hasn't been any issues at all and it has yet to annoy me.
