It's comfy, if you can root it.

Moto G-G3 have been good.
G4 is well, not great.

Hope you got the 2GB RAM version though.
Or if you got the 1GB version for $2000MXN (100USD) its great.

decent camera (if not low light)
am/fm radio for emergencies (I used mine during a resent tornado scare.)

reasonably durable
comfy moto features
replaceable battery(not user removable, but whatever I guess)
easily rootable
good rom support
pretty much stock android
$150 at most new for 2 gig of ram variant

Theres nothing spectacular about it but it gets the job done. It sure as shit beats the hell out of my old s5 for my use case.

G4 here, I'm pretty happy with it, why don't you like it? Moto g3 sorta sucks since you could get 1080p phones at the same price when that came out.

Yeah I thought the g4 was pretty alright myself. I ended up returning it mostly because it was too big for my manlet hands. I live in a very snowy/watery state too so I wanted something waterproof. I ended up downgrading to the g3 The upsides of the g4 vs the g3.

Ridiculous fast charging
more internal storage
more ram
better camera

If you like big phones and dont mind losing the waterproofing I'd probably go for this over the g3. In my experience the overheating issues were pretty much a meme. It warmed up a bit on the charger and thats about it.
