How does /g/ feel about DRM?

Fine by me so long as the way the DRM is implemented doesn't effect how the game/movie/program performs in any way.
For instance, Lords of the Fallen on PC had so many problems just making it to the title screen it wasn't even funny. Took the developers 3 months to patch it so it worked. Turns out the DRM was kind of just slapped on.

Shittiest thing ever invented. Everything accessible to a computer should also be accessible to the end user.

Same. The problem is: they do.
Steam is locked as fuck and you're fucked when it doesn't work, for example.

If I own a game on Steam that doesn't need Steam servers to be played, and I want to play with friends who don't own it, I do this:
1.) Go to your steamapps/common folder
2.) Find whatever game folder it is you want to un-drm,
3.) Rename steam_api.dll to steam_api.dll.BAK
4.) Make a .zip copy
5.) Upload to Google Drive or some shit.
6.) Send all your friends the link.
Most indie games don't use steam's shit so its easy to redistribute them. That's why everyone I know has a copy of Nuclear Throne. This won't work for CS:GO and similar games for obvious reasons.
It's a waste of time and money, and bad for both technology and the economy.
