so i was wondering
in what possible ways could we usefuly use the power to control gravity
like, once being able to make artificial gravity, we would be able to build space stations as we like, just like interstellar, but what else

do you mean creating gravity?
or being able to manipulate it?
kind of like floating or making things weigh whatever you wish.

>in what possible ways could we usefuly use the power to control gravity
We could use it to create apparent faster than light travel and explore the universe.
Unfortunately for science fiction nerds I'd bet my life that there is nothing much interesting out there. You'd probably meet a few aliums, realize that sentient life as a whole is rather boring and wonder why you wasted your time traveling the universe when you could've been shitposting on /g/ about the latest graphic card.

What. In a round space station you are not creating gravity. Just cenrripetal acceleration, and at the right diameter+radius of the inner surface you can create effects similar to gravity.
Still would be a real pain in the ass to control, since the center of mas would be always out of balance if we keep moving around and such

The weight imbalance could totally be mitigated with current tech, the problem (and really the ONLY problem in space science) is getting that amount of power so far up into space and for so long, solar power just doesn't cut it
>create starship
>accelerate forward at 9.81m/s^2 for 0.969 years until you reach the speed of light
>flip the ship and accelerate the other way for 0.969 years
>repeat
