I used it for a few months.
The USE flags were nice, but overall it was just way too much configuration required to even get it up to a base arch install, and even more to get a fully working, comfortable operating system.
The install process is extremely tedious and hardly rewarding, since the main "feature" of Gentoo (compiling everything) is nothing more than a gimmick that grants you less than 2% speed/performance improvements over other distros.

I've always been a Windows fan, until I tried Solus

Now my PC is so fast and gorgeous, I can't go back to windows or any inferior OS

and not to mention the solus virus immunity
