I use it often, my handsome polite genius friend. And I can charge using any micro usb 2.0 cable too. Meanwhile they yanked USB 3.0 support from the Note 4 for cost reasons.

Note 4 is all around the better phone, don't get me wrong, but it does have the downgraded USB port and that was just an example of a compromise compared to the previous model. Meanwhile the Note 3 was in every single way better than the Note 2 without exception.
