Chromebook. Anything will do.

Get them the fat 15 inch one with 4GB of ram and the Celeron.

Yeah there are some big retarded 15" chromebooks that they probably wouldn't question.

There also similar windows laptops by lenovo. I think they're called Ideapad 100 or 110. They use a celeron but have a HDD in them, and will probably get slow after a while. Cheap af though. Then again with 400€ you could probably get them something nicer. Maybe an ASUS eeebook e403sa?

Chromebook for half that listed budget price
>>
>>57605926
Nah, just go for the Chromebook. If you want security, ease of use, and just werkiness, then you can't go wrong with one. Just get the 15 inch Acer so they don't complain about tiny text.
>>
Like everyone else has said OP get a Chromebook, and make sure to put extensions like uBlock, HTTPS Everywhere, Disconnect, and etc. That should make there experience better and safer.

how

Literally go to Amazon, search 512gb ssd. New can be had as low as $119 from brands like Crucial. If you're willing to go used, it's even cheaper. That was with 30 seconds of looking.

If you looked for a deal, I'm sure you could find better. Sometimes life requires just a little bit of effort.
